Super Bowl LI will be played on February 5th, 2017 at NRG Stadium. The teams that play have been decided. The NFC Champions, Atlanta Falcons will play the AFC Champions, New England Patriots.
New England Patriots: Tom Brady and the Patriots beat the Steelers 36-17 in the AFC Conference game to advance to Super Bowl LI. This will be Brady’s 7th time in the Super bowl. Super Bowl LI also marks the New England Patriots’ ninth Super Bowl appearance. Also it marks an NFL record seventh Super Bowl appearance for Tom Brady and Bill Belichick as a QB/head coach duo.
Atlanta Falcons: Atlanta defeated the Green Bay Packers 44-21 in the NFC Championship Game to advance to Super Bowl LI (the franchise’s first Super Bowl since Super Bowl XXXIII).
